Social Outreach & Charity

One of the areas of true brilliance of our Holy Father, Pope Francis, is his dialectic of the new evangelization. It is this dynamic which lies at the very heart of our mission of new evangelization, one which falls empty without true social outreach and charity. Here at the Cathedral, we believe that if one truly believes that the other cares for his/her human needs, it is this concern that opens one to faith. For how can one believe in a God who is love, if His Mystical Body the Church does not care for what is most pressing on his/her heart? 

Here at the Cathedral, when people believe that their human needs are heard and cared for, it is then that they can believe in a God of mercy and in his Church. Please explore the website for concrete examples of these signs of hope and charity.
