Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)

There are many adults, those 16 and older, who have not yet received either one or all of the following Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. We believe that everyone’s journey to God and an active sacramental life are met with detours along the way. Thus, with patience and understanding, we provide various opportunities for people to be formed and educated in the faith. We offer programs in Spanish and English, on various days and times of the week, as well as offer livestream classes for those whose family and work schedule conflict with the times and days that the in-person classes are offered. 

Our goal is not only that those who participate in the OCIA receive the Easter Sacraments but, that they remain active members of Christ’s Body, the Church. All of us have something to give back to our community of faith and, when we realize this truth, we know that we are at home in the Church.
